TWS allows for 50kmph over turnouts. Currently, engineering branch is installing TWS as and where they like, such doesn’t give any benefit to train running as such. So, operating branch of each division should ask for the plan of TWS installation and insist that they be installed in stations where it is likely that many trains will pass on loop lines without stopping. Installing TWS at stations where trains are more likely to pass on mainline is of no use to train operations.
