Dear friends,
Need some guidance regarding a commercial issue.
When unauthorized vendors are held, what is the way to charge them?
We can either seize their stuff or can we also penalize them?
If we can penalize them, under what authority can we do that and under what head will the money be deposited under Other Earnings of Booking?

Normally we seize items of vendors and keep into the custody of SMR or CPS at station.

We penalise him by issuing WT EFT.

If one wants to be more harsh then even one can send him jail as well.

Sir, the biggest hurdle : except fine for WT, none of the fines/penalties can be imposed without producing the party before a Magistrate…this becomes a tedious process
