rajneesh2011 Yes. We should start managing running rooms. May be at bigger stations we can ask for separate running room for guards or we can have combined Guard+TTE running rooms. Guards are currently teated as second grade citizens in running rooms. TTE’s rest houses/running rooms are in bad shape. By combining these two, we can create our very own asset. With outsourcing power in our hands, we can very well manage it. What we’ll need is support of our seniors at HQs and Rly board.
ravish_2008 It’s only about owning up. We in Raipur were running box boy contract, crew vehicle contract etc. Your staff will desist and sme oldies will say that is to be done by others but own up. Ask for additional fund in next budget review based on that. Ensure that your demend is reflected(sometimes it gets dropped in finance).
